Part 1: University Woes Listen
Like most college students in the United States, Kenyatta University students in Nairobi Kenya have a lot more than graduation on their minds. Financial aid barely meets their need for housing and food. In fact, the students themselves organized a food bank to stop hunger at the university. There's despair at the prospect of no jobs and the added complications of AIDS on campus. We decided to have a round table discussion about issues that concern us all. We gathered at the office of Kenyatta University chaplin, Maryknoll priest Lance Nadeau, to speak with student leaders Carol Nmupan Njokay, George Machari Njeri.

Part 2: Beating Women Is a National Sport Listen
Violence against women is a world wide problem spanning across all age, ethnic, and economic groups. It happens on campus here and abroad. Candid discussion may be the only way to slowly change the tide. So we continue our discussion at Kenyatta University and find out how inequality, cultural perceptions about women and poverty sometimes lead to intricate cohabitation agreements on campus and battery.
