In thinking over the occasion of this milestone of fifty years since my first oath as a Brother in the Maryknoll Society, the one word that comes to me is Gratitude. Gratitude to my parents for their bringing me up in the Catholic faith and the good example set by them and the family which enabled me to continue in the faith. Gratitude also to Maryknoll for accepting my application for joining the Society and for the support over the years of its members and the companionship received.

My gratitude mostly to God for my vocation of Maryknoll Brother and for forgiveness for failings along the way and permitting me to be of service to the local African church in Tanzania these forty-six years.
